How to Register for Hardee County Special-Needs Shelter Assistance
Register before a disaster when medical, disability, caregiver, equipment, electricity, or transportation needs require public assistance.

Use Florida’s Special Needs Registry and select Hardee County, or call Hardee County Emergency Management at 863-773-6373 for help. Transportation may be requested during registration. Preregistration helps the county plan but does not replace a personal emergency plan.
