Register before an emergency when medical or disability needs may require special shelter support, then separately plan transportation.

Use Escambia County’s online Special Needs Registry or call Emergency Management at 850-471-6400. Medical eligibility questions go to the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County at 850-595-6683, extension 2201. When shelters open, request transportation through ECAT at 850-595-3228.
